MPAA RATING: PG-13 for some sexual content

Starring Anna Friel, Rutger Hauer, Alessandro Nivola, Nick Cannon, Elizabeth Peña, and Mike Jefferies

Real Madrid beckons for the Toon Army's favorite player: Santiago Muñez. While his fiancé, Roz, plans their wedding in Newcastle, he realizes every soccer player's dream and gets to wear the legendary white shirt alongside David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, and Raúl. Mirroring the paths of many soccer legends before him, Santiago basks in the glory, the acclaim, and the money in the second part of the trilogy, only for this illusion of happiness to be shattered and his life destroyed. As the fame-hungry, avaricious, and beautiful Jordana seduces our aspiring Galactico, his past is closing in for catastrophic results. Set against the backdrop of Real Madrid, Santiago discovers the ugly face of success and begins to lose his career, his friends, and most importantly, Roz. (Milkshake Productions)

Empire Olly Richards
Filmically it's more of a pleasantly diverting kick about in the park than a 90th minute back-of-the-net at the world cup final.

The Globe and Mail (Toronto) Jason Anderson
David Beckham may star in Goal II: Living the Dream but calling him an actor is like calling his wife a singer.

The rags-to-near-riches saga of "Goal!" has turned into a risible riches-are-awful tale in Goal II: Living the Dream.

Gavin H. gave it a5:
Lightweight popcorn movie with typical sports movie plotline and action. Beckham stands around and shows off his tattoos a lot.

B Glerky gave it a2:
Saw this on a plane across the Atlantic and it was so bad that I could not even finish it. If you are a big football fan there are a load of cameos.
